Born in the U.S.A., lived in Jamaica and now settled in London, this 26-year-old lyrical Dynamo certainly has a deep understanding of the various genres emerging from these countries. Lekhem has picked up diverse musical influences, ranging from; Reggae, Soul and Funk, Classical and Hip-Hop music and occasionally reaches out to Afro-Cuban rhythms.

After catching the interest of publications like Niji magazine and noted reviews from respected Hip Hop DJs such as DJ Kris Flava (Pass The Mic UK), Lekhem is now making his name on the performance circuit.

'Str8 Out Da Oven' is the debut release from Lekhem. Hip Hop's freshest new offering, Lekhem is ready to take the music world by storm, with his unique melodic sound, his sparring wordplay and unmistakable cheeky charm.

‘KrateDiggin – The Instrumentals Mixtape’ was released on March 5th, 2012. The 15-track project saw Lekhem blend rare musical knowledge with his International upbringing; applying his flavoured blend and talents to samples spanning the 1970’s to Present Day.

Never one to rest on his laurels, expect several new Solo and collaborative releases from this hugely talented Artist, Musician and Producer in the coming months.
